I asked him where he got it. He looked at me and said that his mother gave it to him for his birthday. He told me that he did not really like it and he asked me if I wanted it.
I really wanted it, but I was scared of what my parents would have thought if I came home from school wearing a clear raincoat. I told the nice boy that my mother would not like it.
He smiled and told me that he fully understood.
We parted ways and I had a tear in my eye.
Now, here I am. Although it's about 56 year later and now I am a 63 year old man. My mother has since seen many pictures of me wearing clear rainwear the she love them. Now I am free to wear what I want! Including beautiful clothing under a clearraincoat.
