The buildings in this diorama are constructed of handles from stainless steel silverware retrieved from Goodwill bins, estate sales, and the shoulder of Oregon highway 26 near the Goose Hollow tunnel.
The engravings of the aerial tram and the Hawthorne Bridge are done on pieces of scrap glass that I found here and there.
If you look carefully, what appears to be a stylish condominium tower on the left is actually the threaded bolt of an old lug nut that must have fallen out of the wheel of a car.
