The ring holding up this lamp shade is bicycle chain that is tig welded together so that it is rigid.

The shade itself is leftover fabric from sewing projects.

The steel base is constructed entirely of scraps of steel that I have found on the shoulder of the road in Portland, Oregon.

This hand crafted lamp was a Christmas gife to a family member.
