Silk is a very difficult material to work with. It tends to bunch up under the pressure foot of the sewing machine.

This is my first 100 percent silk outfit that I made. Unfortunately, there were several places where the french seams have bunched up and lapped over itself.

Soon after finishing this project, I had lost weight and decided to donate this to a charity auction. The pieces were sold for a total of close to $500.00.
